We arrived home last night to find that Owen had passed through yet another phase into big boyhood...he is riding a 2 wheeler...no training wheels...no running behind the bike for hours and days on end...no scraped knees...no tears. We borrowed a bike from our friends a few weeks ago and it has sat in the garage. Every weekend I would ask Owen if he wanted to try it, but the glow of the new scooter had not worn off. Today, Nora took the kids to the park and Owen decided to take his new bike. In his words "only one try mommy and I didn't even fall off". My sweet angel boy is growing up...
