Terry Fox

This was our 5th year participating in the Terry Fox 5k walk at the Ajax Waterfront. Owen was 11 months old the first year and I was pregnant with Isabelle the 3rd year. It is exciting to continue to do this walk as a family. Here are the highlights of the day.

The kids got Terry Fox '09 tattoos before we even started:

They started strong on their scooters:

We had some family photos taken:

We all did some running:

And the kids ended the alternating between Mommy and Daddy's shoulders:
And finally resting their tired bones in the wagon:
We talked a lot about Terry Fox and why he started his walk and why we were walking. It was great hearing Owen tell us about things he remembered from last year. Overall it was a fantastic day.
